Red and White



Typically, I’m not drawn to the color red as my favorite or first choice.  However, I do find the contrast of red and white together quite striking.  As we inch closer to the holiday season, we begin to see more red and white, so this is a good time to showcase red and white quilts as well as some red and white projects.

Pictured below is a display of red and white quilts that was featured at the American Folk Art Museum in New York City in 2011.  Also, below is a picture of the Ruby Jubilee from the International Quilt Festival in Houston last week.
